What is the production process behind a new energy vehicle? Let's follow the SFC reporter into the smart car factory.

In April 2020, NIO established its China headquarters in Hefei. NIO's second factory officially commenced production in 2022 at NeoPark. NeoPark in Hefei has been developed as a world-class smart electric vehicle industry cluster, integrating innovation and Ramp;D for complete vehicles, core components, and autonomous driving.

At NIO's F2, the car body workshop is equipped with 756 robots, achieving 100% automation in the assembly process. Moreover, the globally pioneering "Magic Cube" vehicle storage and retrieval platform, combined with the order color decoupling manufacturing process, enables truly 360° personalized customization of car body painting.

From May to August 2024, NIO’s monthly deliveries consistently exceeded 20,000 vehicles. Notably, Hefei’s estimated NEV production exceeded 780,000 units from January to August 2024, solidifying its position as a NEV production center in China.
